When award-winning actor GARY SINISE, heard Angela Lashley’s song he invited her to Washington to perform. After her performance SINISE said, "With 'SO BRAVE', Angela is doing a great thing not just for her son, but for all soldiers in this war and she has my support." Angela Lashley co-wrote recorded and released the song SO BRAVE inspired by her son who has been twice deployed to Iraq. Dubbed the military mother's anthem by American journalists, Angela's song SO BRAVE has made it's way into the hearts of soldiers' moms as far away as the United Kingdom and Australia. Now being recorded and released by others, these songs from Angela's CD SOLDIER'S MOMS include SO BRAVE SOLDIER'S MOM and SANDBOX. In a recent interview Angela said, " While my son was deployed, all I could think about or write about was this war. Also from the CD, BLUE STAR IN THE WINDOW asks military families nationwide to display a candle lit BLUE STAR in their windows this Christmas Eve. |
