Text Box: Perfect song as if it was written for us personally

I was browsing the web to find a perfect song to dedicate to my son and came across So Brave, as soon as I heard it, it brought tears to my eyes and I knew this song was a perfect expression that I wanted to dedicate to my son who has recently enlisted in the US Navy and is leaving in September. I am having a party in his honor next month and will surprise him and the guest with the song and dance to it with him. I was so happy to receive the CD and play it every day. I can't wait to use it in the finale of his party. All the words are so touching and convey what I could not put into words. Thank you for making it available and sending it out so quickly. Being the mother of an active duty US Marine, I can fully relate to this song. I can't really remember when my own son got to be so brave, but I sure am so proud that he did. And ALL our troops! Well done!

This song truly captures a mothers heart. It is a tribute to the pride and joy of motherhood, and how we mothers hold onto our children's hands, but just for a moment...

What a wonderful tribute to our sons and daughters. My son just returned from his 2nd deployment to Iraq to his 6 month old son and courageous wife. I purchased 2 CD's, 1 for him as well. Angela, thank you for such a sweet and moving CD. As a Mom and a Blue Star Mom of a career soldier, this CD says it all. I would recommend it to all Blue Star Moms.

I was blown away the first time I heard So Brave. I think any military mom can totally relate to the words and it has a very special meaning to us Blue Star moms. Thank you so much for vocalizing what we have all felt. Every time I hear the song, it brings tears to my eyes. I can’t help but take it personally and think of how very proud I am of my own So Brave son! Thank you Angela!

Unknown to us at the time, while ‘SO BRAVE’ was being engineered here in Nashville,  Brandon Kintop, was wounded in IRAQ. Brandon, is Jonathan's best friend.  He is the "little guy" in verse 2 of the song.

So Brave.......This song has touched my heart in so many ways.  My son is Brandon (the little guy in So Brave). Jon and Brandon have been the best of friends for so many years.  And now they are soldiers together.

Angie thank you also for writing such a beautiful song about our sons. God Bless.

I would like to say, as a Father of a Marine and a Disabled Veteran of the Navy, this is one of the very best songs I have heard honoring our Mothers of the service men and women now serving in Hostial Lands. I would love to thank Angela Lashley in person but I will have to settle for here. Thank You Angela from the Whaley Family with a Marine serving with a Marine Corps Air Wing on the USS Nimitz. You have done more for these moms in this song than they could ever hope for. Keep up the great work.
